Power Stations In Mexico

Mexico has about 277 power plants with a generating capacity of 62.3659 gigawatts. Mexico is a country that heavily relies on power stations to meet its energy demands. The country's power sector is diverse. Electricity is generated using various energy sources, including fossil fuels, particularly natural gas, coal, and oil, and nuclear and renewable energy sources, such as wind, solar, and hydroelectric power. One of the largest power stations in Mexico is the Manuel Moreno Torres power plant, also known as the "El Sauz" plant. Located in Durango, this plant has a total capacity of 2,320 megawatts, enough to power over two million homes.
