Venezuela has about 43 power plants with a generating capacity of 31.096 gigawatts. Venezuela, a South American country known for its vast oil reserves, is also home to several power stations that provide electricity to its population. One of Venezuela's most significant power stations is the Guri Hydroelectric Plant. Located on the Caroni River in Bolívar, the Guri plant is one of the largest hydroelectric power stations in the world. It has a total installed capacity of 10,200 MW, representing approximately 70% of Venezuela's electricity generation.
